PowerControl enables a driving style with significantly lower revs, which considerably reduces consumption. Shift points can be set earlier and fuel is saved with every revolution of the crankshaft.

All Features and Information
DTE have developed a multi-map tuning technology which can optimise up to five different channels, all in real time. Whether it be common rail pressure, boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass volume, DTE’s PowerControl is able to control them all. Even the latest generation and most technically demanding engines are effortlessly controlled, all within a multi-dimensional multi-map environment. The driver is able to select from 3 different programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.
The Adaptive Sensor System scrutinizes all the relevant engine data and after detecting its respective load state, will provide more power when necessary. Should the driver demand more power, for example, when overtaking, the system will automatically switch on. If the additional power is not used, the system will gradually reduce the power, all power changes are seamless and dynamic.
Not only are the best performance yields based on engine load state but also on road speeds, that’s what DTE’s adaptive tuning technology offers, more power with less fuel usage.
This innovation allows DTE’s tuning products to learn the unique characteristics of your vehicle. During a short ‘learning’ phase, the chips memory function records the engines injection cycle data and optimises the reloaded maps accordingly. Standard vehicle tolerances are taken into account and an optimal tune is achieved – all without any complicated driver input.
A whole new range of new safety standards are introduced with DTE’s new Engine Protect+ feature. This function has the important task of continually monitoring the ECU’s signals to the engine and safeguarding them against any overloads. The protective functions of the ECU as well as air fuel ratios remain intact and within specification, ensuring complete peace of mind.

Leistungssteigerung Skoda Octavia RS 5E 2.0 TDI Handschalter mit 184 PS (380NM) auf leistungsgemessene ~212 PS (440NM) - CUNA #1. Vorwort Eines vorweg, ich habe mich sehr lange und sehr intensiv mit den Tuningbox Herstellern am Markt beschäftigt. Meine Rezension ist ehrlich, ich bin unabhängig, eine private Person und ich bin natürlich kein DTE-Systems Mitarbeiter. Ich möchte nun meine Erfahrungswerte teilen. #2. Warum eine Tuningbox und keine Kennfeldoptimierung via OBD (ECU-Optimierung)? Es gibt Menschen die sich gegen eine Kennfeldoptimierung entschieden haben. Dies hat verschiedene Gründe. Ich möchte keine *** zahlen, ein Tuner flashed mein Steuergerät und ich habe keine Kontrolle darüber, was er getan hat. Für mich stehen die Kosten und der Aufwand in keinem Verhältnis und bin zusätzlich auch noch indirekt an den Tuner gebunden. Ebenfalls erhöht sich der Flash-Counter im Steuergerät (Ich weiß, dies tut er auch, wenn es Update vom Hersteller gibt) und der Hersteller erkennt sofort, dass das STG geflashed wurde. Für mich keine Option, da ich noch werkseitige Garantie habe. Ebenfalls gibt es ein Risiko, dass wenn der Hersteller ein Update einspielt und das STG geflashed wurde, die Optimierung wieder weg ist. Zusätzlich werden hohe Kosten erhoben, wenn das ECU-Tuning noch eingetragen werden muss. #3. Warum DTE-Systems? Es wird viel schlechtes über Tuningboxen in Foren, Facebook-Groups und Co. berichtet. Doch die Beiträge die man dazu finden kann, sind teilweise über 5-7 Jahre alt. Die Technology hat sich weiterentwickelt und die heutigen Produkte haben wenig mit den Produkten von damals gemeinsam. Damals wurde der Raildruck via Poti solange hochgedreht, ´bis weißer Rauch kam oder die Motorkontrollleuchte kam. Heute werden verschiedene Sensoren abgegriffen. Im Fall meines Skodas sind dies folgende Sensoren: Raildruck-, Ladedruck-, Nockenwellensensor. Eine 3 Kanalbox war für mich grundlegend wichtig. Warum habe ich mich für DTE-Systems entschieden? 1. Transparentes Unternehmen 2. Ansprechbar über verschiedene Social-Media-Kanäle (rund um die Uhr) 3. Sehr kompetenter Support 4. Deutsches Unternehmen mit Produktion und Fertigung in Deutschland 5. Gutes Image 6. Ausgereifte Technology 7. ISO 9001 zertifiziert, bedeutet, dass es ein qualifiziertes Qualitätsmanagement gibt 8. MAHA MSR 500 Leistungsprüfstand (Aus meiner Sicht ein Prüfstand, der ganz vorn mitmischt) 9. DTE bietet eine Garantie bis 100.000 Km auf Motorkomponenten 10. DTE baut die Produkte kostenfrei vor Ort ein und hat einen mobilen Einbauservice (***) #4. Der Termin vor Ort Ich wurde sehr freundlich von *** in Recklinghausen empfangen. Sie begleitete mich die ganze Zeit während meines Besuches und konnte ebenfalls alle meine Fragen beantworten. Den Einbau der Powercontrol X Box führte ***. durch. Er konnte alle meine technischen Fragen beantworten. Er hat den Kabelbaum sehr präzise verlegt + die Box sehr gut im Motorraum versteckt. Nach dem Einbau wurde die Box deaktiviert und es wurde eine Eingangsmessung auf dem MAHA MSR500 durchgeführt. Der RS hatte Serienleistung und zu meiner Freude etwas nach oben gestreut: 188PS (Werkangabe: 184PS) und 389NM (Werkangabe: 380NM). Danach wurde die Box aktiviert und es wurde eine erneute Messung durchgeführt. Die Umgebungstemperatur Verhältnisse waren mit 25 Grad nicht die besten und somit war der Sauerstoffgehalt der Luft nicht optimal. Mit dem Ergebnis der Messung mit aktivierter DTE-Powercontrol X Box war ich sehr zufrieden. Das Ergebnis: *** PS (~212) und*** NM (~444NM). Mit diesem Ergebnis habe ich nicht gerechnet. Es ist für eine Tuningbox ein hervorragendes Ergebnis, denn die Kennfeldoptimierung beim Tuner ergibt am Ende auch nur 220PS/450NM. Die Ergebnisse hatte ich mit *** sehr intensiv besprochen. Fazit: Der Tag bei DTE-Systems hat mich sehr glücklich gemacht. Das Unternehmen braucht sich nicht verstecken, denn die Produkte die angeboten werden, halten auch was sie versprechen. Ich gehörte vorher auch zu den Kritikern dieser Lösung, doch ich wurde eines besseren belehrt.
