With the DTE Systems performance upgrade, PowerControl X, significant performance increases are possible for turbocharged VW engines. The tuning is connected to the central sensors of the engine management system, including boost pressure, camshaft and the sensors for fuel injection. Chiptuning for the MK7 Golf chassis‘ is just as possible as for Phaeton, Arteon, Tiguan and more. Incoming signals are recorded, optimized and passed on directly to the control unit. In the MK7 GTI 2.0 TSI 230hp, for example, boasts a massive increase of +75whp. The potential of VW diesel engines can also be optimally used with DTE: In the VW Golf Sportsvan 2.0 TDi, for example, the 150 hp output increases to 180 hp. At the same time the torque increases and reaches 380 Nm - after 320 Nm before tuning. The new PowerControl X module is also used for this.

Smartphone control with the PowerControl App

The DTE performance chip, PowerControl X, can now also be operated from the cockpit. The tuning increase of the PowerControl can thus be easily switched on or off with your smartphone. And with a simple swipe of the phone, the driver switches between the various programs of Sport, Dynamic & Efficiency, depending on the driving situation. A particular highlight of the PowerControl App are the performance instruments, which display all relevant engine performance data live. This displays turbo pressure, rail pressure, and RPM’s in real time. The overall package of the PowerControl App also includes an innovative accelerometer to measure g-forces applied to the vehicle and a configurable warm-up timer.
