To top the fun of a 280 hp, four-cylinder turbo gas SUV, the DTE Systems development team set itself the task of making the Hyundai Kona N even more rev-happy and powerful. With the PowerControl for the Hyundai Kona N, the SUV has a strong 56 hp and 46 Nm more. In total, the mini-SUV dashes across the highway with 336 hp and 438 Nm. The improved driving dynamics and powerful performance let the car accelerate even 0.5 seconds faster between 100 - 160 km/h (5th test gear) for a strong performance on the road. Thanks to the identical engine design, PowerControl is also available for the i30 N.

Acceleration in the Hyundai Kona N with one touch

With the PedalBox+ the response can be improved instantly. In three simple steps, the gas pedal tuning is installed and can improve acceleration at the touch of a button. Four programs are available to the Hyundai driver for this purpose: City, Sport, Sport-Plus and Standard. The gas pedal tuning is also available via smartphone control: with the appropriate PedalBox app, the tuning box can be easily switched on or off via smartphone. In addition, all individual settings for the Hyundia Kona N can be saved in the smartphone app. This means that the PedalBox+ always starts with the desired settings that match the Hyundai.
