The performance chip is connected to the central sensors of the engine management system, including boost pressure, camshaft and the fuel injection sensors. Passed on to the control unit, the incoming signals are recorded and optimized. Even with the entry-level Fiat 500 (150) 0.9 8V Twinair with factory-set 85 hp, a power increase of 16 hp to 101 hp is possible. With the diesel chip tuning in the Fiat Grande Punto (Evo) (199) 1.9 JTD 16V and standard 150 hp, the additional output is 30 hp and thus increases to 180 hp. At the same time, torque also increases from 305 to 380 Newton metres. But also commercial vehicles such as the Fiat Ducato 150 Multijet 2.3 D 4x4 get more pulling power and performance for transport with +28 hp and +55 Nm.
